Advertising Sales Representative

We’re seeking an experienced freelance sales rep to secure print and online advertising for custom magazines in Ontario. Leads will be provided. Flexible hours.

Duties and responsibilities:

• prospect, present and close strategic advertising solutions for print, online and custom sponsorship opportunities for new customers
• collaborate with internal teams to generate and deliver customer solutions
• develop and maintain strategic industry partnerships

The ideal candidate will have a sales background with:

• 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in print and online advertising sales
• proven ability to grow ad sales revenue and exceed revenue goals by prospecting and growing existing relationships
• experience creating and closing innovative sales proposals
• highly developed written and verbal presentation skills
• high-level of computer literacy, including proficiency and accountability in use of contact management software
• a reputation as a creative, passionate self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and team-player approach
